Antonio Manuel Trgueiros da Silva Cunha is the assistant professor definitive appointment of Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, Portugal. His main research interests are machine learning and medical image processing. Served as a senior researcher in the Biomedical Engineering Research Center of INESC TEC, responsible for a number of national-level projects, published more than 10 papers in Scientific Reports, Expert Systems with Applications, and other sci indexed journals in JCR Articles.
報告内容簡介：
This lecture will share the experience of applying deep learning in the field of medical imaging. Prof. Cunha has been engaged in computer vision research for many years. He has rich research experience in developing computer-aided diagnosis tools to support medical decision-making, applying advanced image processing and analysis methods, and machine learning (especially medical and biological images). Scientific research projects include ophthalmology CADs development project (detection of glaucoma), gastroenterology (detection of abnormalities in capsule endoscopy) and detection of pulmonary nodules in computed tomography examination.
