Dr. Adriano Tavares is an Associate Professor of Embedded System Design at the University of Minho, Portugal. He received his B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. in Information Technology from University of Coimbra, Portugal and his PhD in Industrial Informatics from University of Minho before becoming professor and researcher at the University of Minho. Dr. Tavares authored or co-authored more than 80 papers in peer-reviewed international conferences and journals and is the author of a textbook. Additionally, Dr. Tavares has been visiting professor or/and researcher at Royal University of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand), PSUT (Jordan) and Wurzburg University (Germany).
