《數據挖掘導論》課程介紹
大數據時代的來臨使得數據挖掘備受關注，數據挖掘是數據庫研究、開發和應用最活躍的分支之一，是一個結合統計學、機器學習、神經網絡、模式識别、知識庫系統、信息檢索、高性能計算和可視化等多學科的交叉領域。
《數據挖掘導論》課程是計算機科學與技術專業的專業選修課，它是為培養數據挖掘研究與應用人才而設置的，是一門理論和實踐相結合的課程。
通過本課程的學習，學生将做到：
1．認識數據挖掘在當今計算機應用中的重要作用。
2．初步了解數據挖掘的基本原理和整體結構。
3．掌握數據預處理技術（包括數據清理、數據集成和轉換、數據歸約等方法）和數據挖掘技術（包括分類、預測、關聯和聚類的概念與技術）。
通過本課程的學習，使學生初步掌握數據挖掘的基本原理和技術，把握發展方向，為今後從事數據挖掘相關工作打下堅實基礎。
Introduction to the course“Introduction of Data Mining”
The coming of Big Data era makes data mining attract more attention. Data Mining is one of the most active branches in the fields of Database research, development and application. Data Mining is an interdisciplinary of Statistics, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Knowledge Base System, Information Retrieval, High Performance Computing and Visualization.
The course “Introduction of Data Mining” is an important optional course for the major of computer science and technology. It aims at cultivating the excellent persons of data mining research and application and is a course combined the theory with the practice.
By learning this course, the students could achieve the following abilities.
1. Understand the important effect that Data Mining has on the current computer applications.
2. Preliminary learn the basic principles and whole structure of Data Mining.
3. Master the data preprocessing techniques (include data cleaning, data aggregation and transformation, data reduction) and data mining techniques (include Classification, Prediction, Association and Clustering).
After learning this course, the students should preliminary master the basic principles and techniques of Data Mining, know the direction of research and applications so that laying the solid foundation of doing the future jobs related to the data mining.
