Dr. Claudio Varotto （個人簡介如下）：
Dr. Claudio Varotto studied plant biotechnologies at the University of Verona, where he gradutaed with a thesis on the point mutational analysis of chromophore binding sites in the antenna complex of the light harvesting complex II. After MSc, he did his PhD and a postdoc at the Max-Planck Institute for Plant Breeding of Cologne (Germany). During this period he had been working on the identification of novel photosynthetic genes through a forward genetic screen in Arabidopsis.He then moved back to Italy, where since 2003 he established his group which is involved in the dissection of the molecular bases of adaptation in non-model plant species.
